At the root of Habitat Horticulture’s flagship system is GrowTex®, our sustainably engineered geotextile providing a highly versatile foundation for growth.
It can be cut to any shape or size to fit within various architectural formats and the plants can be pre-grown on modular panels or installed individually onsite. The GrowTex® system consists of two layers of non-woven geotextile made from recycled plastic water bottles and one layer of woven geotextile that’s highly moisture-retentive. Together they provide the optimum growing medium with an ideal ratio of moisture and air that does not degrade over time. GrowTex® can easily be planted and replanted for convenient maintenance.

The GrowPro™ system was born out of the need to meet national fire safety codes and provide a system that can handle the extreme wind and temperature conditions at 300ft+ high. Aside from the irrigation tubing and the plants themselves, the GrowPro™ system is made of a non-combustible assembly, giving it the highest possible fire resistance.
